Club Update June  -  Henley Womens Regatta and boat naming

This weekend sees 12 crews from TSS racing at HWR

Last Sunday saw the naming of the Senior women’s new Filippi eight.

Joelie Chisholm named the boat following her support of the SW fundraising campaign which helped the club purchase this new hull.

The new Filippi eight is called “Turn the Screw” a call made by the cox when Joelie was racing WeHORR in the TSS SW eight, and when they too came third in the event.

This weekend sees the new eight racing at HWR in The Ron Needs Cup (Ch 8+) with a time trial at 11.35 Friday morning and first races from 16.37 on Friday afternoon.
